     Tuscan Lodge No. 630 was chartered in the village of Griswold on October 5, 1869. The village name was changed to Walpole on September 22, 1873. The Walpole Post Office was closed in 1931 and Walpole is now on a rural route out of Broughton, Illinois.
    The name of Tuscan Lodge No. 630 was later changed to Walpole Tuscan Lodge No. 630.
    Broughton Lodge No. 963 was chartered on October 15, 1913. It merged with Walpole Tuscan Lodge No. 630 on November 7, 2002
